Meet Hannah Richardson, PsyD, HSP

Dr. Richardson is a fellowship-trained Clinical Neuropsychologist with a wide range of experience working with neurologically compromised individuals throughout their lifespan.

Dr. Richardson completed her internship at the third largest VA in the country, the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA, where she evaluated post-injury cognitive functioning and provided differential diagnoses of neurological functioning with consideration of common comorbidities seen in veterans. Her lifespan fellowship was completed at The University of Toledo Medical Center in the departments of neurology and physical medicine/rehabilitation.

As a lifespan neuropsychologist, Dr. Richardson provides comprehensive neurocognitive evaluations for people with developmental or acquired neurological conditions, aged 7 and up.

While not exhaustive, typical referrals include:

  • Diagnosis of intellectual disability related to neurodevelopmental disorders

  • Neurogenetic disorders (e.g., epilepsy, brain malformations, genetic syndromes)

  • Hematology/oncology (e.g., acute lymphoblastic leukemia, sickle cell anemia)

  • Cognitive deficits due to chronic neurological conditions (e.g., epilepsy, headache/migraine, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis)

  • Evaluation of cognition following acute brain injury (moderate to severe TBI)

  • Differential diagnoses of dementia
