Meet Stelios Stylianou, PsyD.
Dr. Steylianou is a clinical psychologist. Drawing from over a decade of mental health care experience, Dr. Stylianou specializes in a broad spectrum of mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and chemical dependency.
He has worked in hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, which includes partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs, with both adolescents and adults seeking treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. In the inpatient setting, he was part of a multidisciplinary treatment team for patients in crisis.
Dr. Steylianou has also worked in traditional outpatient offices where the acuity of care varies and includes individuals in a crisis dealing with psychosis and/or suicidal or homicidal ideation, to individuals with less severe diagnosis such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, etc. Many of the individuals Dr. Steylianou has worked with have experienced traumatic life events and/or struggle with substance use. Of particular interest is working with substance use diagnosis and the dual diagnosis population, which includes individuals with substance use and varied mental health diagnosis.
He has experience providing treatment for patients in group, individual and family therapy modalities for people from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Steylianou enjoys guiding individuals on their path to wellness.
